An accomplished pianist and chamber musician, Stefan Mendl has performed all over the world, most notably as a founding member of the ‘Wiener Klaviertrio-Vienna Piano Trio‘. He has been teaching chamber music that includes piano at the University of Music and Performing Arts, Vienna since 2015.
Together with musicologist Sylvia Sagmeister, Mendl selected the composers and works for the ‘Hidden Harmonies‘ project. He supervised the ensemble rehearsals and served as recording producer for the recordings at Synchron Stage Vienna. Mendl was able to recruit young talent from the University of Music and Performing Arts, Vienna (mdw) to perform the chamber music works.
