Mitra Kotte, born in Vienna, has won several prizes at national and international competitions as a soloist as well as a chamber musician. For the 2022/23 season she has been selected as the “Featured Artist” of Jeunesse-musik.erleben. The highlight of this award was her performance of Robert Schumann’s Piano Concerto in A minor, Op. 54 in the Great Hall of the Vienna Musikverein.
In the season 2022/23 Mitra made her debut at the Brucknerhaus Linz, at the Vienna Konzerthaus in the Music and Poetry series and at the Vienna Musikverein in the Word Music I series. In earlier seasons she has also performed Ludwig van Beethoven’s Piano Concerto No. 3 at the Vienna Konzerthaus and at the Ljubljana Festival and the Upper Austrian Abbey Concerts. Mitra was invited to give a piano recital at the International Bruckner Festival 2023.
