In 2021 the young artist Dušan Sretović was selected as pianist-in-residence at the Mozarthaus in Vienna, where he regularly performs as a solo and chamber musician.
He studied at the University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna (mdw) with Prof. Christopher Hinterhuber, Prof. Nataša Veljković and Prof. Jasminka Stančul. The young pianist attended master classes with Prof. Elisabeth Leonskaja, Stefan Mendl, Arbo Valdma, Đorđe Milojković, Igor Lasko, Boris Berman, Brigitte Mayer and Miloš Popović.
In the course of his education he participated in many competitions and concerts, among others the Odessa Music Olympus Competition (Ukraine) and the Grand Prix, International Piano Competition “ClaMo”, (Murcia), where he won the 2nd prize. In 2019 he won the 1st prize at the International Competition “Agustin Aponte” in Tenerife, Dušan has given solo performances with the Südwestdeutsche Philharmonie in Konstanz and the Murcia Philharmonic in Spain, among others. The artist found the “Concert in the Dark – In the Light of Darkness” , an inclusive concert for the blind and visually impaired to be a special concert experience.
