Ayaka Matsudomi, born 1994 in Yamaguchi, Japan, took her first private clarinet lessons with Rie Sasaki in 2009, attended Kaori Sakaemu’s clarinet class in high school in 2011. In 2013 and 2014 she studied concert clarinet at the Musashino Music Academy in Tokyo with Masashi Togame and in 2013 she received a scholarship from the Musashino Music Academy.
From 2015 on she studied concert clarinet at the University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna (mdw) with Prof. Ernst Ottensamer, Prof. Christoph Moser and Prof Johann Hindler. In addition to her career as a soloist and chamber musician she has given several concerts in Japan and Europe.
