Soprano

The soprano Vassia Alati received the coveted “Maria Callas Scholarship” and studied Lied & Oratorio (Master 2021) and Opera (Master 2019) at the University of Music and Performing Arts in Vienna (mdw) in the class of Prof. Markus Hadulla and Prof. Peter Edelmann.
As a concert soloist Vassia has already performed in Greece, the Netherlands, Austria, Cyprus, South Korea, Germany and France. On stage she impersonated roles such as Queen of the Night, Donna Anna, Norma, Galatea, Musetta and Servilia.
With her Lied duo partner Yuto Kiguchi (piano) she gave numerous concerts in the Netherlands (Concertgebouw Amsterdam and others), Austria (Musikverein Vienna and others) and Germany. Together they participated in international competitions and won the first prize at the First International Song Competition Bolko von Hochberg in Görlitz (2022), the special prize at the “54th International Vocal Competition” in ‘s-Hertogenbosch (2021), as well as the second prize at the “International Student Lied-Duo Competition” in Groningen (2020).
